🔒 Bibliotrack does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Everything you add to Bibliotrack stays on your device.
📱 What Data We Collect
Bibliotrack does not collect any personal data whatsoever. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. The app has no way of identifying you or knowing anything about your library.
All data you enter into Bibliotrack — your books, shelves, tags, ratings, notes, and loan records — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
🌐 Internet Access
Bibliotrack makes one type of network request: when you scan a barcode or search manually, the app queries the Google Books API to look up book information (title, author, cover image etc.).
- Only the ISBN barcode number is sent to Google Books
- No personal information is included in these requests
- This lookup is governed by Google's own privacy policy
- No other network requests are made by the app
☁️ iCloud & Backups
Bibliotrack does not use iCloud sync. Your library data may be included in your device's standard iCloud or iTunes backup if you have those enabled — but this is controlled entirely by you and Apple, not by Bibliotrack.
🤝 Third Parties
We do not share any data with third parties. We do not use advertising networks, analytics services, crash reporting tools, or any other third-party SDKs that might collect data about you or your usage.
👶 Children's Privacy
Bibliotrack does not collect any data from anyone, including children. The app is safe for users of all ages.
🔄 Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this privacy policy, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. We will never introduce data collection practices without updating this policy first.
